Good Bye Boss

May be, I was a dabbler,
I thought you'd guide me,
into conviction for the cause

May be, I was a dilettante,
I thought you'd,
catapult me into expertise

At least, I thought,
You'd understand me, but
you undermined me,
by all means

My roots, were not as enriched as yours,
thought you'd nourish, and nurture me,
but you were in course,
of perishing me

Now, I leave, you,
Needn't bless me,but
don't despise me

My silence
Doesn't mean I am useless.
I am,not, a man of splendor,
but definitely,
one of candour..
